GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus hase been offering four-year Aeronautical Engineering form 2011-12 academic year, Dr. Ch.Sanjay, Campus Director said in a press release on Monday. It is one of the most challenging fields of engineering with a wide scope for growth. This branch of engineering science concerned with the design and construction of aircraft.
Prof. Sanjay explained that, the Department of Aeronautical Engineering has excellent experimental and computational facilities. Apart from conventional equipments, the department has acquired modern and state-of-art experimental facilities like Boeing 737-200 Simulator, Hall of an Aircraft, Aircraft Shell, Aero-engine, Aircraft Components and Fighter Aircraft Airframe especially for the students pursuing this branch.
GITAM Hyderabad Campus is also offering four-year engineering with the specialization of ECE, EIE, CSE, ME, EEE, IT, CE, and Industrial Engineering. Five-year dual degree in ECE and Mechanical, he added.(NSS)
