GITAM University is offering Engineering and MBA admissions for this academic year at its newly established Bengaluru Campus at Nagadena Halli, Doddaballapur Taluk, Bangalore Rural District, Prof. G. Subrahmanyam, Vice-Chancellor stated in a press release on Monday.
Prof. G. Subrahmanyam stated that the university had obtained permission from UGC to start four B.Tech. and MBA programs at its new Campus. The varsity is offering B.Tech. in ECE, CSE, IT and EEE branches through GITAM School of Technology (GST) and two-year full-time MBA program with dual specialization through Bengaluru School of Management Studies (BSMS).
ADMISSION CRITERIA
The VC explained that the university would admit EAMCET and KCET qualifiers along with GAT-2012 rankers at its new campus. A pass in 10+2 or 12th examination at a time from a recognized Central or State Board of its equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks was required. A minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks in any degree and CAT, MAT, XAT & GMAT scores would be considered for MBA admission. The university would conduct GD and PI for the eligible candidates.
The VC stated that the last date for submission of applications is October 6. He advised the eligible candidates to apply online through the university website www.gitam.edu. (NSS)
