Hyderabad, May 24: (Siasat News) School Education Minister Mr. D Manikya veue Prasad released results of S.S.C examination on Sunday. This time also girls fared well against boys.
A total percentage of passing students were 81.63. Nizambad district not only retained its top slot but also bettered its earlier performance with 92.25 percent success of its students. But Hyderabad schools showed consistently poor performance.
Even though its pass percentage was 71.9, one percent more than that of the previous year. Mr. Mankiya said, A.P residential schools results were better than these of others.
The students of APRIES set a tremendous record of 96.25 percent pass, but the municipal schools registered lowest percentage 69.18. A total of 2433 schools secured 100 percent pass percentage, while 12 schools, which include eight private institutions did not have a single student passing the examination total 81.63 candidates were successful out of the girls percentage was 82.01 and boys percentage was 81.27, lesser than the percentage of the girls.
Mr. Mankiya said, during a press conference, which was held in connection with the release of the results. The supplementary examinations will commence on June 24 and they will continue till July 7, he informed the media persons. The last date of submission of the examination fees will be June 16. But school administration has to submit it not later than June 17.
