Girls outperform boys in ECET 2012

Girls out-performed boys in the Engineering Common Entrance Test – 2012 whose results were released here on Saturday.

The ECET – 2012 was conducted on May 26 by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Releasing the results, ECET Convenor Prof G Tulasi Ramdas informed that out of 32,937 candidates who registered for the test, 29,391 candidates qualified in the ECET taking a total pass percentage to 89.23.

Of 29,391 who appeared for the test, 22614 boys and 6777 girls cleared the test. The candidates can get the results by visiting www.apecet.org and www.jntuk.edu.in. (INN)
