Girls outdo boys in education

Hyderabad: The 72nd administrative committee meeting of Faiz-e-Aam trust, a welfare organisation, was held recently which was attended by Dr Shamshad Husain, Siasat editor Mr Zahid Ali Khan, Mr Iftekhar Husain Secretary Faiz-e-Aam Trust, Mr Rizwan Hyder, Mr Amer Ali Hyder, Dr Makhdoom Mohiuddin, Prof. Anwer Khan and Mujahid Husain.

On the occasion, Mr Iftekhar Husain introduced a burqa-clad girl who is serving in a multinational company and earning Rs. 85000 per month. He termed her a role model for other Muslim girls, as she belongs to a family which has only daughters and brought laurels to their family. She is the 3rd of the 6 sisters. Her father late Shaikh Shameem and mother Salma Begum provided all their daughters, good education.

Shaikh Saleha who was fluently talking in English told that her father had gone to Saudi Arabia and had spent a very tough life.

Saleha told that she began earning with a salary of Rs. 5000 and today she is working in a company named Sales Force as senior quality analyst earning Rs. 85000 per month. Her father has expired.

Siasat editor Zahid Ali Khan praised the girl and said that girls like her can bring about a positive change in the society.

On the occasion Siasat editor, Mr Zahid Ali Khan handed over a cheque of Rs 55 thousand to MDS student Shaikh Mubeen. Shaikh Mubeena has been topper from grade I to BDS.
