According to the news published in CNN, with tears in her eyes, she said, “It’s a shame that our fathers and mothers are killed and we can’t see them anymore”. She also said, “It’s a shame that we have to go to their graveyard and bury them. And we have tears. We shouldn’t have tears. We need our fathers and mothers to be by our side.”
She was protesting against the firing by Charlotte police which killed her parents.
Mayor Jennifer Robert and City Police are criticized for mishandling the death of Scott, an African-American man who was shot dead by an officer last week. Scott was killed on 20th September after which protest broke out.
