A 19-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling in the room of the hostel where she was staying.
According to Pet Basheerabad police, the deceased, Ch Vasundhara, resorted to the extreme step in her room in Sri Sai Durga Hostel on Tuesday night. She was a native of Karimnagar district and was studying B Tech in an engineering college in city. The reasons that drove her to the extreme step are yet to be ascertained.
