A minor girl was allegedly raped by her maternal uncle at Nalhati in Birbhum district.
The police today said that the victim, a student of class-two, was raped by her maternal uncle Binod Mal last night at Mahulapara village in Nalhati.
According to the police, the girl from Hafijpur village went to her relative’s house at Mahulapara on the occasion of Saraswati puja where the accused took her away and raped her.
