Hyderabad, April 30: 14 year old girl, who was missing from the outskirts of Jedimetla was found dead in Vijayawada.
It is said that victim Bhavani along with her friends Praveen and Prasad both aged 15 years was missing since April 21.
Police suspected that the girl has been throttled to death after being raped and the body was flung at the Coast of Krishna River.
According to police sources after the annual exams were finished Bhavani went out of her house saying to her parents that she is going to Suraram tank along with her friends Prasad and Praveen.
Later, she, along with Prasad and Praveen had gone to Tirupati and proceeded to Vijayawada from there on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Bhavani’s parents lodged a complaint that their daughter was missing.
Police have arrested Bhavani’s friends Prasad and Praveen.
