A tribal girl was killed and two others grievously injured when an overloaded steering autorickshaw overturned at Mamillagudem village under Mothe mandal on the Khammam-Suryapet highway in the district on Wednesday.
The ill-fated auto was taking some 10 students of Chandana high school in Nayakanigudem under Kusumanchi mandal of Khammam district to a private school at Mamillagudem when the accident occurred. Class X student Nagamani, who suffered grievous injuries in the mishap died while being shifted to a hospital. The students were going to the school in the auto to write examination. (NSS)
