In a dreadful accident occurred at Selaiyur on the outskirts of Chennai, a seven-year-old girl, slipped through a hole present on the floor in her school bus. She was crushed by the vehicle.
The girl named Shruti Sethumadhavan, was the student of 2nd class. She was returning home in her school bus when the tragedy occurred.
Sources reveal that there was a hole on the floor of the school bus under her seat which had been covered with a wooden plank. When the vehicle hit a pothole, the plank shifted, exposing the hole. The girl fell through the hole and run over by the bus.
Shruti’s father is an auto-rickshaw driver.
