Science Olympiad Foundation has introduced Girl Child Scholarship Scheme 2017-18 with an aim to provide financial assistance to girls from the economically weaker section and enable them to continue their school education. Under this scheme, Science Olympiad Foundation awards education scholarships worth Rs 5000 each to 300 girl children in India.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, a student must –
— Be a girl studying in Class 2 to 10.
— Belong to a family whose combined monthly income should be less than INR 15,000.
— Have scored at least aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent in the previous class.
Note- The marks criteria may be waived off for a child with a major physical disability.
