A 13 year-old-girl who was set ablaze by her relative at Mangalhat four days ago died while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital on Saturday night.
According to police, deceased G. Bhavani (13) D/o G Narsimha R/o Mangalhat was sitting in front of her house on Thursday evening when her distant relative Muthamma @ Muthavva (55) poured kerosene on her and set her ablaze, due to petty quarreled, immediately rushed to OGH for treatment where undergoing treatment she died on Saturday late night hours. . The victim’s mother was sleeping inside the house when the incident took place, he added.
Mangalhat police registered a case of murder under section 302 IPC and dead body shifted to OGH Mortuary for postmortem and began investigation. Inspector R. Srinivas said. (INN)
