HYDERABAD: In a stark contrast in terms of display of wealth, a government teacher in Ballari district takes a humanitarian step and granted his daughter’s wish to help Hindu couples tie the knot at her wedding reception.
According to The Hindu reports, S. Inayat’s 23-year-old daughter S. Nagma’s marriage was fixed with S.K.N. Rasool, an interior design professional.
Nagma asked her father for a wedding present and her unusual wish is to make her reception a platform for a mass marriage. When Mr. Inayat heard this, he fully supports his daughter’s decision and is, in fact, so absolutely happy that he granted the wish.
Therefore, on Wednesday, Hindu couples including two from SCs and three from STs tying the knot was the biggest gift for Nagma’s wedding.
Mr. Inayat along with the local teaching fraternity actively participate and worked to find the needy. “I broached the subject with my colleagues and discussed it with the Taluk Primary School Teachers’ Association,” he said. o actively participate in the ceremony
He not only sponsored lunch to about 5,000 guests and but even gifted the Hindu brides with new clothes and the necessary household items.
“I was pleasantly surprised by Nagma’s wish that I arrange a mass marriage to help poor families,” said Mr. Inayat, a teacher at a government primary school at Narayana Devara Kere in Hagari Bommanahalli.
Mr. Inayat and his daughter set an example that if we try and take the initiative then ethics and morals of humanity stands tall above the evils that is prevailing in the society.
