GHMC commissioner Mr. M T Krishna Babu launched the unique scheme ‘Sanche Bangaram’ at Kukatpally Rythu bazaar. Speaking on the occasion, GHMC Commissioner M.T. Krishna Babu informed that the scheme has been launched in collaboration with Kukatpally Rythu bazaar Management and Tree Guard Organization. A gift coupon will be given to customers coming with a jute/cloth bag to participate in a lucky draw for Rs.1 lakh worth of gold.
The lucky draw will be held on July 15 after the completion of 40 days starting from June 5. The scheme aims at discouraging the usage of plastic bags and encouraging usage of jute bags.
