Telangana’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today unearthed assets worth over Rs 3 crore allegedly belonging to a sanitary supervisor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) here.
On credible information, a case of disproportionate assets was registered against V Krupadanam, (GHMC North Zone) Secunderabad and searches were conducted at his and his relatives’ residences, an ACB release said.
During the searches two G+2 residential houses, seven house plots, 12 acres of agriculture land net cash of Rs 1.30 lakh, bank balance about Rs 3.80 lakh, 500 gram gold and 500 gram silver, one car besides 2 two wheelers were found and the market value of these properties is estimated to be more than Rs 3 crore, the release said.
It has also come to light that Krupadanam joined as a sweeper and was acting as a sanitary supervisor by producing fake educational qualification certificates of intermediate and degree, which is being investigated, it said
The case is under investigation and he will be arrested, it added.
