GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer Somesh Kumar informed that 400 officers from various wings like Sanitation, Health, Engineering, UCD, Town Planning and various other departments would be given training on 6th May which would be inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
The Commissioner stated that the ‘Swach Hyderabad’, which is scheduled to be held from 16th to 20th May, will witness the participation of ministers, senior officials of the government and celebrities. He directed the Deputy Commissioners to inspect their jurisdictions and furnish proposals to take the works. He also instructed the officials deploy 100 JCBs for lifting of garbage, debris, silt, etc., during the programme. The GHMC is also setting control rooms at Zonal and Head Office and also providing special teams for the above said programme. (INN)
