The Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases has convicted M Devadas, the Tax Inspector of GHMC Circle-7, for demanding and accepting bribe.
The judge, Harekrishna Bhoopathi, convicted Devadas for demanding and accepting the bribe Rs. 2,000, in the year 2007, and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one year and to pay a fine of Rs. 1,000/- for the offence under section 7 of P.C. Act, 1988. (INN)
