Hyderabad, August 03: Minister for Marketing M Mukesh Goud requested Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner MT Krishna Babu to take up developmental works worth Rs 2.38 crore for the benefit of the people.
The Marketing Minister, one of the three Ministers from Telangana who had not submitted their resignations and are attending to their duties, chaired a review meeting on Monday evening with Mr Krishna Babu on various development works.
The subjects which came up for discussions included sanction of earlier proposals, new proposals and suggestion and advices on the development of Greater Hyderabad.
The Minister advised the GHMC chief to take preventive measures in view of rainy season.
Mr Mukesh Goud requested the GHMC Commissioner for construction of new flyovers, construction of retaining walls on open nalas, construction of foot over bridges, repairs of roads and street lights etc.
The Marketing Minister asked the GHMC Commissioner to take up the earlier sanction works worth Rs 1.00 crore, which include construction of two storied community hall in Gunfoundry at Abids and remodeling of nala in Mangal Haat and Dattatreyanagar division of the constituency.
