Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Thursday said that the new Standing Committee of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation would be constituted in the next three months.
Addressing the newly elected TRS Corporators and ex-Officio members at TRS headquarters Telangana Bhavan here, KTR asked the party corporators to focus on resolving the problems being faced by the people. He said that the newly elected corporators should not break the trust of the people. By electing 99 out of 150 corporators in the recently held elections, people have assigned a major responsibility to TRS and all its leaders should fulfill this responsibility, he said.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, ministers Jagadishwar Reddy and Nayani Narasimha Reddy, TRS Secretary General K. Keshava Rao and Advisor to Govt D. Srinivas among others. (INN)
