The Standing Committee of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Monday gave approval to the construction of 176 new houses at Indiranagar of Khairtabad mandal.
The new houses will be constructed in G+3 pattern with an estimated cost of Rs 16.95 crore in place of three blocks of 72 houses and existing AC sheet houses which are in dilapidated condition. By giving administrative sanction, the Standing Committee has sent its recommendation to the State Government for final approval.
The Standing Committee has also sanctioned Rs 85 lakh for dismantling of existing compound wall and reconstruction of compound wall as per revised RDP for widening of road from Gudimalkapur flower market, opposite Manikanta Kirana Store to other side entrance of the flower market. It also gave administrative sanction of Rs 1.14 crore for improvement of Old Bombay Highway from Tolichowki to Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Phase – I under IALA – Shifting of 33 KV, 11 KV, LT 3 – 4W/L and 2 nos. DTRs along the both side of road from Timber Colony to Biodiversity park (near Gachibowli ESCI 33/11 KV Sub-station) in Gachibowli Section of Gachibowli Sub division in Gachibowli division in Ranga Reddy Circle (North) under DC Works.
