Hyderabad: Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman of TS Wakf Board informed that GHMC owes Rs. 260 crore to TS Wakf Board. This amount is the compensation for the wakf lands acquired for road widening and metro rail project. The payment of this amount has been pending for a long time.
The lack of permanent CEO of Wakf Board is delaying the matter.
After discussions in the meeting of Wakf Board, a letter was sent to GHMC. Mr. Saleem told that very soon all the arrear amounts would be collected.
