In a bid to mount pressure on the tax payers to pay property tax in time, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a novel campaign. It has erected the flexi boards of property defaulters of Circle no 8 and 9 at prime locations in the twin cities. Flexi boards display name of the tax payer, place and tax due by them, requesting them to pay the property tax on or before March 31.
GHMC warned that the corporation will seize the properties as per the provisions of the act if tax payers fail to pay the tax before the last date.
