The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will be conducting a job mela on June 12 at the Owaisi School of Excellence in Riyasathnagar. Some 40 corporate companies, including those from IT sector, security, hospitality, real estate, automobiles, and hospitals will recruit candidates from 9 am to 6 pm during the mela.
Candidates with minimum educational qualification of Class X are eligible to attend the mela. Benefit with this mela is that those who fail to get a job would be provided free training in different fields, including communication skills by the GHMC, said Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain on Saturday.
Job aspirants are required to carry at least five sets true copies of their educational qualification certificates and register names at the venue. For the convenience of candidates, special GHMC buses will be operated from Chandrayangutta bus depot to the venue, he added.
Stating that there were some 3,000 vacancies, Majid Hussain asked the unemployed and under-employed youngsters to make good use of the opportunity. He also said that similar job melas would be conducted in all the GHMC circles shortly. (NSS)
