Hyderabad: GHMC has been conducting campaigns to create awareness among the public for keeping the city clean. GHMC is taking stern actions against the hotel owners and residents for spreading water and throwing garbage on roads.
It imposed fine to the tune of Rs. 20 thousand to Rs. 40 thousand against those who violated the laws of pollution.
Illegal possessions on footpaths are being dismantled in the city.
GHMC is also ensuring to provide dust bins in various localities.
Mr. Dana Kishore, Commissioner of GHMC appealed to the public to extend cooperation with GHMC in maintaining cleanliness in the city.
He also told that without the cooperation of the public, it is not possible for GHMC to fulfill its dream to make the city clean.
