The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is planning to hire 300 Civil Engineers on outsourcing basis.
According to sources, Municipal Administration Minister K. Tarakarama Rao, while reviewing the progress of civil works in the city in a meeting held last month, had permitted the GHMC to hire 300 engineers on outsourcing basis to expedite the pending works. Subsequently, the GHMC has decided to hire 126 engineers in the first phase. They will be trained by the National Academy of Construction (NAC) from October 5 onwards.
B.E. and B. Tech graduates are being appointed on the basis of merit and under Rule of Reservation, sources informed. (INN)
