The GHMC has informed that Property Tax Early Bird Collections for 2018-19 financial year has risen to Rs 437.75 crores as against 2017-18 year’s collection of Rs 362.54 crore. The GHMC said 58% of the transactions and 57% of the total collection amount has been received through modes of Online and Citizen’s Service Centers combined for the present financial year.
Last year, 56% of the transactions and 55% of the total collection was received through Online and Citizen Service Centers combined. The amount collected in 2018-19 under Early Bird scheme through online mode was Rs 128.95 crore as against Rs 107.93 crore last year showing an increase of 20% collections.
