In separate cases, two persons were killed in road accidents in the city.
A 40-year-old man, K Srisailam, suffered grievous injuries when the motorcycle he was riding skidded on Road No 10 of Banjara Hills on Friday. He was immediately rushed to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) where he died a few hours after the admission. He was an employee of GHMC and resident of Janaiah Nagar of Moosapet, Banjara Hills police said.
In another case, 28-year-old Asif Hussain died of injuries which he suffered after he lost the control of the bike he was riding and hit a road divider near his residence in Ibrahimbagh of Golconda on Friday night. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died in the early hours of Saturday, according to Golconda police. (INN)
