Hyderabad: Addl. Commissioner of GHMC, Surender Mohan informed that all arrangements have been made for the counting of votes of GHMC elections. The counting will begin at 8:00 a.m. at City College. He further told that 970 counting tables have been arranged in 88 halls. 1154 counting supervisors would be posted for counting. 3000 postal ballets have been used by Govt. officials and polling duty officers for which separate counting has been arranged.
After the completion of voting process, all the voting machines have been preserved at counting centers under tight security. It may be noted that there were 1333 candidates for 150 Municipal Wards. 45.25% polling was recorded. It is expected that by 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, all the results would be announced for which the candidates are impatiently waiting.
