Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) decided to use German Technology for roads.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, this decision was made to reduce the damage to roads.

It may be mentioned that due to heavy rains, roads get damaged and residents of Hyderabad witness many problems.

German technology will be used for the repair of roads from Telugu Talli Flyover to Necklace Road Indira Gandhi Statue.

Although, the cost involved in laying road using German technology is same as the cost to lay regular BT road but will stay for a decade.

In this technology, the material of the existing road will be recycled after mixing it with cement and chemicals.
Talking on this, Mr. B. Janardhan Reddy, GHMC Commissioner told that after analysing the results, the technology will be used for more roads in the city.
