GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar opined that it should be our responsibility to care of such children, who needs our attention.
The Commissioner has visited Sneha Ghar Boys Home at Ghasmandi in Government Primary School premises, Aadaiah Nagar, Bible House, Secunderabad on Wednesday to celebrate Deepavali festival with homeless children.
Somesh Kumar said that meeting such people on this auspicious occasion make us more responsible towards the society. It was briefed by the organizers of the home that there are above 50 boys who are either orphans or homeless. The Commissioner has distributed sweets and crackers to the inmates and interacted with them.
Additional Commissioner (Urban Community Development) D Jayaraj Kennedy and CPRO K Venkata Ramana have participated in the programme. (INN)
