GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar has inspected the site where a major fire broke out at the Pooja Edifice Building in Begumpet at early hours today.
The Commissioner said that fortunately there were no human casualties reported. The fire broke out on the third floor of the building. As it grew, it engulfed the fourth floor too. The cause of the fire has been attributed to a short circuit in the electrical system.
Somesh Kumar said that the GHMC would initiate and massive special drive in the next 2 months to take on those who do not possess a fire NOC. (INN)
