GHMC has bagged 25 awards at Third Garden Festival organized by the State Horticulture department.
There were various types of gardens and the GHMC was maintaining a total of 1,772 parks and nurseries all over the city. The different types of gardens are: major parks, colony parks, thin parks, bio-diversity parks and traffic islands.
GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy and Additional Commissioner C S Raghuprasad appreciated the efforts of its staff in maintaining the gardens which bagged 25 awards. (NSS)
