GHMC asks voters to seed Aadhar number in electoral data

GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer Somesh Kumar said that the Election Commission of India has taken up the prestigious programme for linking of Aadhar with Electoral Photo Identity cards to purify the electoral rolls.

In this connection, the GHMC Commissioner has appealed the voters of GHMC area to seed their Aadhar number information in Electoral data base by using any one of the following methods: Visit website “164.100.132.184/epic/; call GHMC toll free phone numbers 21111111 and 155304 or CEO toll free Phone no. 1950; SMS the following message to 8790499899 Seedepicvoter Epic No. Aadhar No; Visit nearby Mee-seva along with copies of EPIC and Aadhar; Provide copy of Aadhar / EPIC to your BLO or Visit your Polling stations on 19th and 26th April where the BLOs / GHMC officials will be available to collect the information.

The Booth Level Officers of concerned PS will visit door to door from 13th to 18th April to obtain Aadhar / EPIC details. In case of door lock, the BLO will paste a sticker with his contact phone number and intimating date of next visit. The Supervisory officer & BLO will visit the door lock cases from 19th to 25th April to authenticate. (INN)
