Hyderabad: Commissioner of Police of Rachakonda, Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat has decided to make use of Ghalib’s poetry to reform the drunkards since despite stern actions they are caught plying vehicles with a greater speed in drunken condition which is causing accidents. The steps taken by the police to shift them to jails is also not being proved effective. The Police Dept. had now decided to make use of Ghalib’s poetry to reform the drunkards.
Mr. Bhagwat recited the poetry of Ghalib and said that a decision has been taken to organize de-addiction counseling. It is expected that this counseling will start with the beginning of the new year.
