Getting beautician work done by other men is prohibited in Islam

Islam has permitted women for their beautification but getting this work done by other men is prohibited, most women go to beauty parlours for Mehendi, Facial, Beautification, Tatoos, Vaxing, Ttreading, Inscribing names on hands or arms is prohibited as per Islamic Shariat.

In all these activities, other men touch the body of a woman which is not permissible in Islam.

These thoughts were expressed by the women speakers of Jameeatul Mominaath. The programme started with the recitation of the Quranic verses by Dr. Nazia Aziz, Dr. Rizwana Zarreen said that Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) has hinted that all such actions of getting beautification works done by other men is prohibited. Dr. Rahmeena Tahseen told that such beautification activity is permissible which does not tamper with the natural beauty.

Dr. Ayesha Khatoon told that wearing a dress which is transparent is not permissible in Islam. Dr. Amena Butool said that getting hair of the eye brows removed is unlawful according to Islamic Shariat. Dr. Nasreen Iftekhar said that shaking hands with other men is not permissible and hence getting mehendi designs by other men can’t be allowed. Dr. Nazia Azeez told that Allah (SWT) has forbidden women to expose their beauty to other men. Ms. Nazia Khaleel said that interaction between men and women is forbidden in Islam, be it in the play field, education or in entertainment activities.

Ms. Nazia Iqbal told that meaning of woman means ‘Veil’ (Hijab) Ms. Saadia Jehan told that women should refrain from sending their voice outside their homes. It is therefore, essential that while talking to a strange person they should not talk in a melodious tone. The programme came to an end on the prayer offered by Dr. Mastan Ali Quadri, Director of the institute.
