Meerut: The manager of a CBSE-affiliated school, which has asked its students to get a Yogi Adityanath- like haircut, today said action will taken against those who protest the orders.
Some parents had yesterday protested outside the school against the orders that also asked the students to shun non- vegetarian food.
Notwithstanding the protest, school manager Ranjeet Jain said those want to remain in the institution will have to follow the directives.
“Those who agitated against the directive yesterday will be identified with the help of CCTV cameras installed at the school building and action will be taken against them,” he warned.
“We will not allow students to bring non-vegetarian food in lunch boxes at any cost,” Jain said.
The protesters said the new orders are a clear attempt at driving a wedge between students belonging to different religions.
Meanwhile, the local administration has asked the district inspector of schools to submit a report on the matter.
SSP Ravinder Goud asked Sadar Bazar police to investigate the matter and told the media that action will be taken based on the probe report.
