Get Ministers to fall in line or accept resignations: Dadi to CM

Hyderabad, August 01: Senior Telugu Desam Party leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao on Sunday demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy accept the resignations of his Cabinet colleagues if he fails to get them to fall in line.

Talking to media persons at Assembly premises, Mr Veerabhadra Rao stated that the administration in the state has came to a grinding halt due to resignations of the Ministers and their non-functioning even after these resignations have been rejected.

The senior leader alleged that the Ministers were cheating the people by discharging duties at their homes and agitating outside by claiming that they are not discharging duties and not attending any government programmes and working for the cause of Telangana state formation.

He demanded the Chief Minister to accept the resignations of the Ministers if he failed to get them to fall in line.

“This ambivalent attitude by the Ministers is sending a wrong message among people about the government and the administration,” Mr Veerabhadra Rao stated.

He warned the Chief Minister that he would be held responsible for the paralysed administration in the state.
