Pune, The court of judicial magistrate (first class) Swarup Bose on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants (NBWs) against the six suspects wanted in the German Bakeryblast case.
The prosecution on Monday moved an application seeking NBWs against the six after the court handed over the copy of 2,405-page chargesheet to the alleged mastermind in the blast case Mirza Himayat Inayat Baig.
The blast that took place on February 13 this year claimed 17 lives, including five foreigners, and injured 56 others.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had arrested Baig on September 7 from the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Stand in Camp area of the city.
But the six suspects including Ahmed Siddibappa alias Yasin Bhatkal, Riyaz Bhatkal, Mohsin Ismail Chaudhari, Iqbal Ismail Shahbadri alias Iqbal Bhatkal, Fayyaz Kagzi alias Zulfiqar Fayyaz Ahmed and Sayyad Zabiuddin Sayyad Zakiuddin alias Zabi Ansari are absconding.
They are members of the banned Indian Mujahideen (IM) and are also wanted in the blasts that took place in Surat, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad and New Delhi.
