(Siasat News) Mr. Syed Ali Hashimi, Member of Society for Promotion of Tolerance severely condemned the genocide of the Muslims in Myanmar and Assam and said that those who talk of Peace and Human Rights are silent.
Mr. Hashimi, in a press conference held yesterday told that the Buddhists claim to be the proponents of peace but they are staining their hands with the blood of the Muslims.
Despite mass scale bloodshed in Myanmar and Assam, the international fraternity is silent, especially the world media is also silent which is very surprising. He said that Dalai Lama and Ms. Ang San Suchi the Nebel Laureates who received the peace prize are also silent.
He demanded the oil producing countries to withdraw all the transactions of oil supply and disconnect all diplomatic relations with Myanmar. He also condemned the silence of Govt. of India. He told that if BJP counter attacks Govt. of India that Congress has made Assam a laboratory for the genocide of the Muslims, it is right.
He told that media created a havoc of infiltrators from Bangladesh which provided an opportunity for Bodo activists to spread venom against the Muslims. He demanded the Muslim lawyers and legislators to raise their voice against the killings of the Muslims and pressurize Govt. of India to alter the clauses of Anti-Communalism Bill to include atrocities on the Muslims also in it.
