Job Description:

Recruit and retain top talent, build teams from scratch, draw smart candidates from own network and referrals.

Provide leadership to Engineering Development and Product Management teams
Coach and mentor employees while focusing on continuous performance improvement
Develop a team environment that fosters open and honest communications
Maintain a great working relationship with remote management team and development team leads
Communicate and facilitate effective flow of information with all remote stakeholders at US HQ and India while adding value to strategy and execution
Continuously measure and improve productivity and quality
Continuously evaluate project activity and keep remote teams updated with the progress and status
Provide reliable estimate and schedules
Deliver high quality software in a timely and cost effective way.
Select office location and manage all facility operations.
Collaborate with HQ to manage the operating budget and resource allocation for Hyderabad Office.
Fosters a climate that supports relationship building and collaboration at all levels throughout the business, which results in improved alignment and innovation

Desired Skills & Experience:

Functional requirements:

15+ years of software product development in software companies that sell to enterprise customers
Experience in managing cross functional teams including software development, QA, and product management
Working experience in US and Indian software development centers
Possesses high level of technical/functional expertise and knowledge
Experience in SaaS model, Security and networking technologies would be a plus.
Encourages technology, tools and automated processes
Knowledge of Hyderabad community with extensive local network to help recruitment
Experience in fast-paced startup environment
Built world-class teams, provided strong leadership across disciplines and organizational boundaries and proven influencing skills with and without, direct line authority
People management qualities must include excellent team building and motivation, performance management and employee development including demonstrable leadership development for a large organization including several senior level direct reports.
