Jaipur, July 10: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot during his 10-day foreign tour met steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal who expressed his desire to invest in the state.
Gehlot, accompanied by a high-level delegation, visited New York and London and returned to the state capital today.
The delegation during its 10-day tour took part in a meeting of the Rajasthan Association of North America in New York and met NRIs from the state in London, a state government official said.
Gehlot and members of the delegation also met Lakshmi Mittal who expressed his desire to invest in the state, he said.
The aim of the delegation was to promote Rajasthan as an investment-friendly state, the official said.
