Gear up for budget session, KCR tells sadaram

In the wake of Budget session likely to begin from October 20, Legislature Secretary Dr Raja Sadaram today called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Secretariat here.
Sadaram discussed with the Chief Minister on the arrangements being made and steps to be taken for smooth conduct of the session. It is understood that the CM directed Sadaram to expedite the process for the first budget session of Telangana Assembly and Council post bifurcation. The session may run for about four weeks and have three days of holidays during Deepavali which falls on October 23.
As the session is crucial, the officials concerned should ensure all arrangements in place for smooth conduct. Sadaram has informed that they have expedited the process and just getting ready for the session. This time, after bifurcation, it is being said Telangana Assembly may have reduced number of seats but adequate to accommodate only legislators of Telangana State. Issue of passes for vehicle parking for ministers, MLAs, MLCs and VIPs are the issues touched upon during the meeting, it is learnt. (NSS)
