GBCI, Philips tie-up to advance sustainability in environment

New Delhi [India]: Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the Global Certification body for the LED green building program and Philips Lighting India Limited today announced collaboration dedicated to advancing sustainability and human health within the built environment in India.

The collaboration will include knowledge sharing, professional education and continued

localization of green building strategies that include lighting design and lighting systems.

From reducing energy consumption to improving worker productivity and well-being, efficient lighting products and sustainable lighting solutions play a critical role in our transformation to a greener built environment.

Two key elements of the partnership include capability building for architects, consultants, designers, builders and end users as well as support to GBCI in additional localization of green building certification systems.

Philips Lighting products and solutions have helped end users to meet various statutory and regulatory compliances related to human comfort, green guidelines and resources efficiency for lighting systems.
