Melbourne : Shakira, who lent her voice to the character of Gazelle in the upcoming animated movie ‘ Zootopia,’ feels the character to be too fit for her.
The ‘Hips don’t lie’ crooner insisted the director to make some physical adjustments to Gazelle if the character was going to be based on her persona, reports News.com.au.
The 39-year-old songstress said that the character “had to be a little curvier, she needed bigger hips.”
The award-winning singer is angry about the inaccuracies of women’s portrayal in the media as she has always been a big advocate of curves. She even mentioned that a lot of pictures were “photoshopped to hell,” hence advised girls not to get influenced by magazines.
“We should be happy with who we are and with our own bodies. And besides, men like to have something to grab onto, right?” she added. (ANI)
