Hyderabad, May 06: Taking serious exception to Mr Gazal Srinivas declaring that his one song for United Andhra was greater than 1000 Telangana songs, the Telangana Rachayithala Vedika has alleged that Mr Srinivas’ song was meant make easy money.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, the TRV general secretary, Mr Juluri Gowri Shankar, alleged that Mr Srinivas does not understand the sorrows and songs of victims because the latter supports dacoits and resorts to robbery. Mr Srinivas, who made allegations against the Telangana cultural movement at a seminar held at Visakhapatnam sings Gazals for the sake of making money alone, he said, adding that Mr Srinivas got name and Padmasri award for singing the gazals penned by son of Telangana soil Dr.C Narayana Reddy. Dubbing Mr Srinivas as nincompoop(silly, foolish, or stupid person) for claiming that his song for United Andhra was greater than 1000 Telangana songs.Mr Gowri Shankar said that Mr Srinivas’ song will be shortlived when compared to the songs of Balladeer Gaddar, Mr Gorati Venkanna and Mr Andesri.
