Gay partner throws man from 3rd floor in Hyderabad

A retired deputy director of the industries department aged 60-year-old allegedly killed his 20-year-old male sexual partner by pushing him from the third floor of a building in Bagh Lingampally near Narayanguda early on Tuesday morning.

The accused, V. Narsingh Rao, 60, had brought the victim, from a place near Tajmahal Hotel in Abids area, at the night of the incident and brought to his place.

Mr Rao has been arrested and is being interrogated.

According to the police, Mr Rao, who is wedded with two children and identified himself as a bisexual, and had been having an affair with the victim for the last few weeks. He has also confessed to having sexual relationships with other men.

“Our patrolling team heard a scream and the sound of a body hitting the floor. When the police team and apartment residents searched, they found a naked man in a pool of blood.

They also saw the broken windowpane on the third floor. The cops went to the lawyer’s office and found a bewildered and naked Mr Rao. A 108 ambulance was called and the victim was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead,” said Narayanguda police inspector S. Bheem Reddy.

As the quarrel broke out between the duos, Mr Rao, who is well-built, pushed the victim in a fit of rage so hard that the window shattered and he fell.

“We suspect that Rao fought with the victim and in the melee he might have pushed him. There could be some other reasons also,” the inspector said.

A case has been booked against Rao under Section 302 (Murder) and Section 377 (Unnatural sex) of the IPC.
