New Delhi: Some trolls — followed by PM Modi had on Wednesday posted abusive comments targeting the slain Kannada journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh.
The PM was criticised for allegedly following some of them on Twitter from his personal handle and soon on Thursday hashtag #BlockNarendraModi began trending on the micro blogging site in no time to express objection against him following the trolls.
One such troll is Nikhil Dadhich who used an abusive reference to the slain journalist. “Ek kuttiya kutte ki maut kya mari, saare pille ek sur mein bilbila rahe hain” (It took a bitch to die a dog’s death, for all pups to howl in the same tune),” he Tweeted.
Here are some of the tweets:
“The worst PM india has seen till now. Following all abuser. #Shame #BlockNarendraModi ”

The Kannada journalist-activist, known for her left- leaning outlook and forthright views on Hindutva politics, was shot dead by unidentified assailants at her residence on Tuesday night.
Lankesh, 55, had returned home in her car and was opening the gate when motorcycle-borne assailants fired at her indiscriminately, with two bullets hitting her in the chest and one on her forehead, police officials said.
She died instantaneously.
