Bengaluru: Ex-IAS officer, S.M. Jamdar on Friday has suspected that noted Journalist Gauri Lankesh and academic M.M. Kalaburgi were murdered as they supported the demand for separate religious status for the Lingayat-Veerashaiva community.
According to the news published in DC, talking to the media persons, Mr. Jamdar said that he was also receiving threats for involving in the movement. He also said that due to warnings, the government provided police security to him.
He further said that Gauri Lankesh published a 21 -page edition supporting Lingayat-Veerashaiva community. Mr. Kalaburgi also supported the cause, he added.
