Hyderabad, December 23: Two employees of a company died after inhaling poisonous gas released in a company in the city on Wednesday.
According to reports, the gas leakage was occurred at Third Unit of Dr Reddy’s Laboratory located at Industrial Development Area in Bollaram, Jinnaram mandal in Medak district.
The laboratory has confirmed the death of the two employees—Sridhar Reddy, a chemist hailing from Guntur district and Deepak, a contract labourer hailing from Orissa state.
The mishap took place in a chemical manufacturing unit where nitrogen gas leaked, killing the two employees on the spot.
Reacting to the news, family members of the deceased gathered at the company and protested against company administration.
